The view from the top

Working in an older building has perks. Its got charm, lots of exposed beams, and “character”. It also has its drawbacks. It’s cold in the mornings, hot in the afternoons, and the floors are so thin you can see through them. You think I’m joking?

Exhibit A: Hole in Floor

Exhibit B: View of the floor below

What’s even better is the fact they are doing construction below us so there’s constant drilling, hammering, sawing…oh, and country music. I’m not sure if I should complain now or later. Apparently a “rockabilly” bar is going in and that’s why there’s construction. For now, I’ll keep my complaints to myself and just enjoy the view from the top.

Jen, this is really really really funny to me.

Like, you know those TBS commercials where people call in to the TBS ” funny center ” where everyone is dressed in white and wears thick black rimmed glasses – and then the “humor judges” tell the person if what they are seeing/doing is actually funny?

This so would qualify as a “really really funny”.

You should attach something to a string and dangle it down there. Like maybe a song request?
